Estate Litigation
Many of our clients seek our advice when the administration of the estate of a deceased person is being contested. For example, family members may feel that the deceased person made a will while being influenced by someone else, or that their own interests in the estate of the deceased person are not being fairly represented.
We also counsel clients with respect to the “estate” of someone who is still living but who may have been legally incompetent to provide instructions regarding their Will or Powers of Attorney.
Not surprisingly, issues arising over the administration of an estate can cause a great deal of discord among family members. We advise our clients of their rights and options connected with estate disputes while attempting to find a resolution that all parties believe is fair.
